12:00 PM – 12:15 PM: Break
12:15 PM – 1:30 PM: Dance call

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is geared towards musical theater artists, actors, and/or dance artists. The “Best Practices and Q&A” presentation is mandatory, however, you may join for either, neither, or both the vocalist/actor audition portion or the dance call.

This event is FREE and RSVP is required to hold your space. You do not need to audition in order to join the workshop. Refreshments will be provided.

For the vocalist/actor mock auditions: Those selected to present work to the group should prepare a 1–2-minute monologue/song that serves as a preferred audition piece along with headshots and resumes. An accompanist will be provided. Select material you have an organic connection to that tells a story that you bring to life in an honest way.

If you would like to be considered for the audition portion of the workshop, please send your headshot and resume to jlee@aaartsalliance.org with subject line: “DLE Audition Workshop” by Wednesday, April 3 at 11:59pm ET. A4 will select and notify 6-8 participants by Friday, April 5th. If you are selected, prior to the audition, please visit www.disneyauditions.com to create or update your audition profile.

For the dance call: Come prepared to move as participants will be guided through an optional dance call.

Accessibility: Open Jar Studios spaces are wheelchair accessible. They have two single occupancy ADA restrooms on the premises (one on each floor). For Open Jar Studios full accessibility offerings please visit their website here.
