Celebrate the Year of the Horse with A4’s limited edition design! A4 is proud to present the sixth-edition of our annual Lunar New Year series. Created by Dayi Novas (@novasdayi / @ouch.tattoos), this year’s image celebrates confidence, bold action, and dynamic energy.
Novas explains the thinking behind her design:
Hang on tight! The great year of the fire horse promises chaos and unstoppable change. As clear intentions and aligned action will carry us through, I wanted my drawing to not just embody ENERGY but also thoughtful conviction and good intentions. Confidence, not arrogance. The quintessential beast of power is driven on sure footsteps towards where they need to be!
All proceeds will directly support A4 and our mission of ensuring greater representation, equity, and opportunities for AAPI artists and arts organizations.

I graduated from The Cooper Union School of Art in 2020 and have a background in typeface design, animation, bookbinding, and drawing. I started my private tattoo studio in 2021 and am currently slapping on tats 4 hours a day, 4 days a week. I take on a freelance illustration project once or twice a year to spice things up. Life is good!!
