Join Slant’d and Studio ATAO at a virtual story slam where we’ll use stories to unpack the topic of Studio ATAO’s latest toolkit: Unlearning Scarcity, Cultivating Solidarity.
WHAT TO EXPECT:
🎙 A story slam featuring 5 talented storytellers who will explore the manifestations of scarcity within the Asian American psyche through Iris Young’s 5 faces of oppression framework: exploitation, marginalization, powerlessness, cultural imperialism, and violence.
💬 Small group conversations on how to cultivate solidarity with other historically underrepresented identities
