The Play first began under the title M.F.A. (Masters of F#cking Artists of Color) and later evolved into Nina from Our Town Goes to NYC, which has been successfully performed in Korea over the past four years in both Korean and English and it’s now making its New York debut!
This show traces the journey of Nina, a young Korean woman who leaves her quiet hometown and sets out for New York City carrying a suitcase full of her hopes and dreams.
Balancing humor with vulnerability, this play explores themes of migration, cultural identity, and intergenerational connection with warmth and honesty.
