Welcome to Chinatown is hosting their annual Hungry Ghost Theater 盂蘭盆節. This is their second annual celebration of the cultural tradition, and the first of its kind in Manhattan’s Chinatown.

Come be immersed into the world of Chinese Opera and more. Celebrate Hungry Ghost Festival in Manhattan Chinatown with a very unique rare opportunity to see LIVE Chinese Opera and more! The Cantonese Opera team will be performing an excerpted of: The Legend of the Purple Hairpin (紫釵記).
