Writers, visual artists, and composers are invited to apply for Winter 2023 residencies at Mt. San Angelo in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains. Residencies will be scheduled between January 2 and April 30, 2023.

In residence, all VCCA Fellows are provided with a private individual studio, a private bedroom and en-suite bathroom, and three meals a day meals in a community of cross-disciplinary artists. During residencies lasting up to two months, VCCA Fellows are free to work at their own pace in quiet, spacious, light-filled studios, just a short walk from their residence overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains.

Significant financial assistance is available year-round.
