EastLine Theatre is excited to announce auditions for “Little Women” by Kate Hamill, adapted from the novel by Louisa May Alcott, directed by Anjor Khadilkar.
❧ As the nation is torn apart by civil war, romantic Meg, spirited Jo, loving Beth, and tenacious Amy struggle with what it means to grow up in a world that wants them to be perfect little women. Join us for this fresh take on an American classic from one of the most produced playwrights in America.
❧ EastLine is seeking performers ages 18+ to play the roles listed below amongst others. If you are also interested in auditioning for Machinal, please feel free. Rehearsals will not overlap.
Rehearsals will be held in Babylon (a short walk from the Babylon LIRR station), with tech rehearsals and performances held at the BACCA Center in Lindenhurst (a short walk from the Lindenhurst LIRR station). Currently scheduled performance dates are: 12/7, 12/8, 12/13, 12/14, 12/15, 12/20, 12/21, 12/22. Currently scheduled tech rehearsals will be held dates between 12/1-12/6. Further rehearsals will be scheduled around cast conflicts, but are not expected to begin until September. Please be as detailed as possible in providing your conflicts in the form. They are happy to arrange carpooling, but transportation is largely expected of the performers. They do not provide housing.

A flat stipend of $200 will be provided for each performer. Gender nonconforming actors are especially encouraged to audition.
