NYC artisans and makers join the NY Handmade Collective

Are you a handmade artisan with an online shop? Do you live in or near NYC? The NY Handmade Collective (NYHC) —NYC’s nonprofit artisan and maker guild is welcoming new members! Join a supportive network of ~200 artisans working toward creative and business goals through community, member promotion, selling opportunities, professional development, and more! We believe in makers supporting makers, and we’re powered 100% by members who share their time and talents.

Applications open: Friday, July 10, 2026

Applications close: Friday, July 24, 2026 (11:59pm ET)

Summer applicants join mid-year, and pay prorated annual member dues: $22.50 + processing fees. Makers from historically marginalized communities, or anyone who finds the membership dues are encouraged to apply through our Access NYHC program.

Requirements

1) Sell items handmade by you
2) Have an online storefront
3) Live in or near NYC (within 1.5 hours from Midtown)
4) Have a Google account (e.g., Gmail works!)

Application Instructions

Applications take about 30 minutes to complete and must be submitted by July 24, 2026.
