The Artist Fellowship provides a select number of artists, working in any one of the disciplines reflected in the NAC’s arts committees, a 18-month Artist Fellowship at the Club, situated in Gramercy Park, New York.

Artist Fellows will be provided with complimentary Club participation, providing access to the historic clubhouse, public programs and discounted private overnight rooms. The Artist Fellowship provides opportunities for the recipient to be featured in Club programming and presentations.

Artist Fellows are selected by a rotating jury made up of a member of the Board of Governors of the NAC, the Executive Director of the NAC, and four jurors drawn from previous Artist Fellows and Affiliate Fellows.

Requirements

To be considered for a National Arts Club Artist Fellowship, we ask that interested artists visit www.nationalartsclub.org/artistfellows and submit a final proposal by December 1, 2021. NAC Fellowship recipients will be informed of their selection in mid- to late December, with the Fellowship starting in January 2022. The application process is open to all artists. BIPOC artists are highly encouraged to apply.
