An inspiring introduction to how the arts “work”, including an overview of exciting careers in arts management. Learn how mission, funding, programming, and service interconnect, plus how current issues and trends are affecting the arts and how arts management professionals are responding.
Summer Intensives are flexible, affordable, 100% online classes designed to fit your schedule.
Requirements
This course is designed for individuals who are new to the field of arts management, are considering an arts management career, or are interested in arts management principles for the purposes of starting one’s own nonprofit. This course is a requirement for all UMass students joining the Arts Management program who have no prior experience in the field. No prior experience required.
