Join our fast-paced Human Resources team and be a part of one of the nation’s most dynamic not-for-profit organizations. As the HR Administration Analyst, you will support our Human Resources organization in a variety of tasks in implementation of services, policies and programs.

About the role…

This robust administrative/analyst position supports various areas of HR (HR Administration, Recruitment, HRIS, and Benefits, etc.) and will be an ideal position to broaden your HR knowledge or to start your HR career.

The HR Administration Analyst will take ownership of new employee orientation (NEO), onboarding, and maintaining personnel records or other employee information, which is accurate, complete and fulfills legal requirements. You will maintain, audit, update, and document process changes in the HRIS or related systems, ensuring data is updated appropriately. This includes hires, terminations/separations, salary actions, and benefit/payroll transactions.

You will…

• HRIS: Maintains the Road Scholar HRIS (UKGPro) database and generates reports as requested, run/audit monthly annual reports (EEO, Census, Unum self-bill, etc.), periodically audit/clean historical and current data to ensure accuracy and keeps employee records up-to-date, troubleshoot feedback vendor files, and validate open enrollment.
• Terminations: Process terminations via UKGPro and ensure systems/email access is deactivated or removed by IT.
• Benefits: Manage COBRA monthly reconciliation, process and track benefits invoicing and process/track weekly funding of HSA accounts.
• Administrative Tasks: Creates and manages various ad-hoc HR reports, maintains a repository of forms, handbooks, policies, or other documents that are needed by employees, and assists in the development and updating of content on the OD/HR Intranet (inRoad).
• Facilitate/Coordinate New Employee Orientation (NEO): Point of contract for new hires/rehires, hiring managers, IT, and Payroll; Facilitate benefit orientation, and payroll training.
• Onboarding: Onboard all new hires/rehires by processing data in UKGPro, This includes processing of I-9 verifications and processing E-Verify requests.
• Personnel Records: Maintains administrative and personnel files, prepares all required documentation for new hires and established personnel file and keeps files up to date.
• Respond to Standard Requests: Responds to inquiries from the HR Mailbox and Benefits Mailbox from staff, managers or candidates, regarding established Human Resources policies, procedures, practices, benefits, or open positions.

Requirements

You need…

• 2-5 years’ administrative/systems experience, with strong analytical experience; MUST have advanced Excel skills!
• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite (again advance Excel skills required).
• HR experience is helpful, but not required; if you are willing to learn about HR, we will teach you!
• Knowledge of HRIS systems required, UKGPro highly preferred.
• Skilled in database management and record keeping; enjoys working with data.
• Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully.
• Effective oral and written communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
• Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Experience working in a fast-paced professional office environment.
