Festival Associate

The Art and Social Activism Festival amplifies the voices of socially engaged artists, and designers through our curated Exhibition and Makers Market. We partner with cultural and social justice organizations on a robust series of public programs to promote dialogue and civic engagement.

Duties include:
• Support exhibition planning, Installation and De-installation
• Produce festival collateral: Drafting press releases, price lists
• Assist with production of Email-Announcements and Social Media posts
• Coordinate public programs: Liaise with speakers, event set-up
• Greet visitors and respond to inquires
• General Office support as needed

Requirements

Qualifications include:

• Minimum of one year of work experience in a commercial gallery, museum, auction house, or arts-related setting
• Some art handling and packing experience

• Proficient in Adobe suite programs, Google Suite, Microsoft Office, In-Design a plus
• Experience with database management programs

• Excellent communications skills
