Hechale Productions presents Cohort 4 of Awaken Your Artist, a six-day acting intensive taking place January 18–23, 2027, in Mexico City. The program brings actors of all experience levels into more than 30 hours of performance training, daily practice, master classes, and individualized coaching, alongside curated encounters with the city’s theater and cultural life.

Grounded in six interconnected principles—Awareness, Will, Action, Kinesthesia, Exchange, and Necessity—the training centers presence, embodied choice, ensemble practice, and artistic exchange. Workshop areas include on-camera acting, scene work, movement, devising, directing, writing, solo performance, and audition and self-tape practice.

The program includes six nights of double-occupancy accommodation in a centrally located four-star hotel, selected meals, transportation for programmed activities, two performance tickets, and guided cultural excursions.

Produced by Hechale Productions LLC, an AAPI-led, California-registered performing arts company working across the United States and Mexico, the intensive is open internationally to actors, performers, educators, and interdisciplinary artists. Its cross-border format creates space for exchange among AAPI, Chicano, Latino, immigrant, diasporic, and other artists without making identity a condition of participation.

There is no fee to submit the registration form. Program tuition is US$2,250 through November 15, 2026, and US$2,950 thereafter. Partial scholarships and payment plans are available. A US$500 nonrefundable registration payment is required only after acceptance. An interview may be requested.
