About Us:
Asian Hall of Fame is dedicated to elevating Asian contributions to the global community, honoring trailblazers across various industries, and fostering cultural appreciation. As they prepare for their next season, they’re seeking a Digital Media Fellow to join their team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about video production, design, and storytelling, looking to gain hands-on experience in creating engaging digital content for social media platforms with the flexibility to grow within the organization.
About the Applied Research Institute: Established in 2019, the Institute’s mission is to help bridge the gap between academics and the workplace. Fellows launch paid projects, and join monthly seminars with industry leaders. International Fellows will receive a 1-3 year OPT extension on their F-1 Visa. After 90-days of service, Fellows are eligible for grants toward technical training, certifications, gear, convention attendance, counseling, and other activities.
Position Summary:
The Development Manager will play a crucial role in advancing the organization’s fundraising initiatives, particularly focusing on the capital campaign, naming opportunities, and engagement of key stakeholders. This position requires an individual who is strategic, organized, and capable of cultivating strong relationships with donors, corporate sponsors, global council members, and inductees.

Requirements
Capital Campaign and Naming Opportunities
○ Create and execute a comprehensive strategic plan to engage existing donors
and encourage participation in the capital campaign and naming opportunities.
○ Develop and implement a formal process to secure pledges in writing, ensuring a
structured approach to collecting annual payments from donors.
○ Regularly monitor and report on the progress of the capital campaign, providing
updates to key stakeholders.Corporate Sponsorship and Global Council Engagement
○ Build and maintain relationships with the organization’s network of corporate
sponsors and global council members.
○ Develop a strategic plan to engage these stakeholders and encourage their
financial support for the organization.
○ Implement a formal process for collecting annual dues from corporate sponsors
and global council members, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.Inductee & Donor Engagement and Founders Wall Participation
○ Create a strategic plan to engage inductees & donors and encourage their
participation in naming opportunities, including the Founders Wall.
○ Develop and implement a formal process for inductees to express their interest in
contributing to naming opportunities and for recognizing their involvement.
