About Us:
Asian Hall of Fame is dedicated to elevating Asian contributions to the global community,
honoring trailblazers across various industries, and fostering cultural appreciation. As we
prepare for our next season, we’re seeking a Digital Media Fellow to join our team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about video production, design, and storytelling, looking to gain hands-on experience in creating engaging digital content for social media platforms with the flexibility to grow within the organization.

About the Applied Research Institute:
Established in 2019, the Institute’s mission is to help bridge the gap between academics and the workplace. Fellows launch paid projects, and join monthly seminars with industry leaders. International Fellows will receive a 1-3 year OPT extension on their F-1 Visa. After 90-days of service, Fellows are eligible for grants toward technical training, certifications, gear, convention attendance, counseling, and other activities.

Position Summary:
This role focuses on editing videos specifically for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, creating visually compelling graphic design video covers, and uploading content to drive audience engagement. The Digital Media Fellow will collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure content aligns with the organization’s mission and resonates with a diverse audience.

Requirements

Video Production & Editing:
● Edit short-form videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube, ensuring
content is optimized for each platform’s specifications and audience preferences.
● Edit longer-form video content for YouTube.
● Collaborate with the team to repurpose existing content for social media.

Graphic Design:
● Design platform-specific and branded video covers for all uploaded content using tools
like Adobe Photoshop, Canva, or similar.
● Ensure consistency with Asian Hall of Fame’s visual identity across all graphics.

Content Coordination:
● Schedule and manage video uploads on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, optimizing
release times to maximize visibility and engagement.
● Add captions, tags, and metadata to all videos to improve discoverability.
