The New Harmony Project is a national arts organization whose mission is to nurture writers in the development of scripts and new works that interrogate the complexity of hope. Through artist-centered programming, we care for writers so they can change the world. In 2022, The New Harmony Project adopted a new strategic vision focused on building a more just, equitable, antiracist, and impactful organization, as we continue to serve as a creative wellspring for writers and artists who are interrogating the complexity of hope.

The Artistic Producer will work closely with the Executive Artistic Director to support NHP’s programming and play a vital role in creating and enacting the vision of the New Harmony Project, while making decisions through the lens of creating a more equitable, just, antiracist, and impactful organization. Duties may include: expand programming for NHP’s alumni; assist in planning NHP’s annual retreat; assist in producing PlayFest Indy and other Indianapolis-based programming, including managing budgets and grant money allocation and producing readings and workshops; lead the contracting process; assist in evaluation of strategic plan and develop new partnerships through an antiracist and just lens; promote NHP, its programs and alumni, locally and nationally, and represent NHP at development events as required. If appropriate, the Artistic Producer may direct readings for NHP programs.
