A4 Welcomes Programs Manager Liqing Xu

A4 is thrilled to welcome Liqing Xu to the team as our Programs Manager!

Liqing Xu (they/she) is a first-generation Chinese American with a wide range of experience in film, theatre, and the arts. They are passionate about amplifying Asian American creative voices and love working with artists. Previous to A4, Liqing served as the multimedia producer at the Walker Art Center, supporting major exhibitions such as “Dyani White Hawk: Love Language” and “Christine Sun Kim: All Day All Night.” They have also worked as a creative executive for DreamWorks China on the global animated movies Kung Fu Panda 3, Abominable, and Academy Award-nominated Over the Moon. As an artist and cultural producer, they have held a Playwrights’ Center playwriting residency from 2022-2025, and have received funding and/or support from Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, Ma-Yi Theatre Lab, CHUANG Stage, Theater Mu, and other sources. Originally from California, they hold a BFA in film and television at NYU and an MFA in playwriting at Hunter College.
