A4 is thrilled to welcome Sarah Zhu as the organization’s new Develomment Manager.

Sarah Zhu (she/her) is a development professional with over nine years of experience across foundations, museums, and cultural organizations, including Independent Curators International, ArtTable, and the New York Historical Society. Her work focuses on building meaningful donor relationships, strengthening individual giving programs, and developing thoughtful fundraising strategies that support long term impact, collaboration, and strategic partnerships.

As a first-generation Asian American from a family of creatives spanning music, art, and film, she is deeply committed to advancing arts accessibility, representation, and storytelling. Outside of her professional work, Sarah remains actively involved in community initiatives, supporting organizations through volunteer work and fostering rescue animals. She also serves on the advisory board of the Cohen Art Foundation, contributing to projects at the intersection of art, human rights, and the rule of law. In her free time, she maintains a freelance photography and design practice and enjoys exploring museums and galleries, spending time with her dog Miso, and unwinding with a good chai at a local café.
