How to Join the Benefit & Play the Games
1) Zoom Instructions

1. Log in to Zoom meeting room using this LINK or meeting details below:

    Meeting ID: 860 3900 5334
    Passcode: 232706

2. Rename yourself as your first and last name including your preferred pronouns. (You have the option to keep your camera on or off, but we’d love to see your face!)

3. If you would like closed captioning provided by REV.com, click on the Closed Captions button on your Zoom menu to enable.

4. Introduce yourself in the chat and tell us where you’re joining us from! We’ll be using the chat function for all the games.

2) Paper Cut Pictionary™
1. Master Paper Cut Artist Ming Liang Lu will cut portraits of famous Asian Americans out of paper.
2. Players try to guess the name of the person by typing their guess into the Zoom chat box.
3. The first person to correctly identify the subject of the portrait wins the round.
3) Music Trivia
1. A4 Van Lier Fellow Lesley Mok will introduce us to the music of different AAPI artists and then conduct a “lightning round blindfold test.”
2. During the “lightning round blindfold test,” Lesley will play brief musical clips by the artists she’s introduced us to.
3. Players must guess name of the artist by typing the name of the artist into the Zoom chat box.
4. The first person to answer correctly wins one point.
5. Whoever has the most points wins! In the case of a tie, A4 will draw the names of winners at random.
4) Impossible Words Charades
1. A4VR artist Bhurin Sead presents a series of video clips in which he acts out a thing or a phrase, providing the number of words and syllables.
2. Players try to guess the thing or phrase by typing the words into the Zoom chat box.
3. The first person to answer correctly wins one point.
4. Whoever has the most points wins! In the case of a tie, A4 will draw the names of winners at random.
5) Bingo
1. The host will call out a letter & number combination (the number, created by Jeremy Nguyen, will also appear at the end of each dance movement video, created by Annie Heath and Niki Farahani)
2. Players then look for the letter & number on their cards. If the number appears on a player’s card, a marker is placed on that square. Everyone gets the A4 square in the center of the card as a freebie!
3. When a player gets 5 markers in a row, either horizontally, vertically or diagonally, the player types BINGO in the Zoom chat box.
4. The host will ask the winning player to read back the letter & number combinations and if they match, they win the round.
5. Pro tip: Print out your Bingo cards in advance!
