Transgressions: Jeannie Hua

In a small mining town in Nevada, there are ten to fifteen Chinese American immigrants buried under mining waste. The discovery of the anecdotal history lead to the grief and the awareness of BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and women buried in unmarked graves everywhere. This show is about the sanctity of death even in anonymity, the journey of the material to the immaterial.
