Protecting Ourselves & Our Communities

In light of recent assaults and bias incidents in NYC, the Asian American Federation (AAF) and Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP)is offering a free, in-person safety training open to all community members.

Please join them at Protecting Ourselves & Our Communities, a de-escalation and situational awareness safety training on Wednesday, August 30 from 5:30 to 7:00 pm at Sara D. Roosevelt Park (by Rivington St). Participants will how to stay alert in your surroundings, defuse potentially dangerous situations, and be an upstander.
