Jiva Baithak Series: An Afternoon of Carnatic Music

Jiva Performing Arts invites you to an intimate afternoon of Carnatic music as part of an ongoing Baithak Series, bringing artists and audiences together in a space that encourages listening, connection, and a shared appreciation of music.

This special gathering features Shiv Subramaniam on vocals, accompanied by Tanisha Srivatsa on violin, Bala Skandan on mridangam, and Sabareesh Vishwanathan on kanjira.

Rooted in the tradition of the baithak—an informal, intimate musical gathering—this series offers audiences an opportunity to experience classical music up close, in a setting where the nuances of melody, rhythm, and improvisation can be fully appreciated.
