Join The New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) at its next online workshop “Performing Outdoors: How to Bring the Arts to Parks, Plazas, Streets, and Other Outside-the-Box Locations.” This webinar is designed to support individual artists and event producers in New York City looking to create and perform outdoors. Accessible from anywhere you have internet access, the presentation will provide insights into the opportunities and challenges when performing outdoors. Dan Fishman, Director of Public Events at Bryant Park and an alum of NYFA’s Emerging Leaders program, will present on the topic on Tuesday, July 27, 1:00 PM - 2:30 PM EDT.

Webinar Description: Learn practical strategies to help you bring music, theater, and dance to where people already are: public spaces. The workshop is geared toward artists and event producers in New York City looking to create and perform outdoors. By the end of the webinar, you will understand the various types of city event permits, consider strategies for what to do in adverse weather situations, and hear ideas for how to manage technical production on a limited budget.
