Pen Parentis Literary Salon Presents Jamie Duclos-Yourdon, Courtney Zoffness, and Aidan Donnelly Rowley

Tuesday, October 11, 2016
7 – 9:30PM
As seen in the New Yorker, New York Times, Time Out NY (critics pick) and Four Seasons Magazine: Every writer has wondered if it is time to give up - the sentence, the chapter, the novel, sometimes even the career. October’s Pen Parentis Literary Salon at Andaz features three writers who have overcome obstacles to succeed in their writing careers. Jamie Duclos-Yourdon, Courtney Zoffness, and Aidan Donnelly Rowley share the spotlight on Tuesday October 11th at 7pm at the Pen Parentis Literary Salon, the unique Downtown series that shatters parental stereotypes as it celebrates the diverse creative work of writers that are also parents. The night begins with networking over wine, compliments of Andaz Wall Street. Readings will be followed by Q&A moderated by Pen Parentis founder M. M. De Voe and Salons curator Christina Chiu. The event ends with mingling and book signings. Come join the fun! Pen Parentis Literary Salons are a great place to meet book-loving neighbors as well as industry notables. Biographical info at penparentis.org/calendar. The October Pen Parentis Literary Salon takes place on Tuesday, October 11th at the elegant Hotel Andaz at 75 Wall Street. The night kicks off at 7:00 pm, and admission is free. Books will be vended for signings. PEN PARENTIS, Ltd is a 501c3 literary nonprofit that provides resources to writers to help them stay on creative track after starting a family. The Literary Salons are an outreach program that is open to everyone 21+ (you don’t have to be a parent or even a writer to enjoy our events!)
