Bollywood and Bhangra Dance with Bollywood AxionEnjoy the energetic Bollywood and Bhangra dance performances by Bollywood Axion of New York City and learn some fun moves from Bollywood Choreographer Pooja Narang yourself! Get into the spirit of Diwali by dancing with us! Indian Music with Raga Kids!Raga Kids introduces kids of all ages to Indian Classical Music through group sing-alongs and interactive songs featuring Indian folk songs, Ragas and original music featuring the Indian musical scale and the language of the tabla! Come check out Raga Kids and learn about what makes Raga music different, but also similar enough to hear some familiar songs too! Featuring guitar, tabla, bansuri and singing in multiple languages, Raga Kids is a great way for little ones get familiar with the musical instruments and sounds of Indian music! Indian Folk Dance with Srijan Dance CenterLearn the stories and mythology behind Indian folk dances and Kathak dance. Wearing traditional costumes, these dancers will show the traditional harvest dances in the spirit of Diwali. Learn how hand gestures (mudras) and facial expressions can tell a story, and try it for yourself!
