New York Urban Film Fest

New York Urban Film Fest (NUFF) is now accepting submissionsThe much-anticipated New York Urban Film Fest (NUFF) will have its inaugural season in New York City at the HERE Arts Center (www.here.org) in SoHo, Manhattan. NUFF is seeking films submissions that echo the true spirit of urban life with a maximum running time of 60 minutes. The festival will be presented in conjunction with the 13th Annual Downtown Urban Theater Festival (www.dutfnyc.com). The submission deadline is October 3, 2014.Three to six Short (running time less than 30 minutes) and three Full (30-60 minute) will be selected as a Best in Category nominee and receive a screening at NUFF. One in each category will be selected as the winner and receive a trophy and a monetary award of $1,000.NUFF, produced by Creative Ammo Inc., was founded with the purpose to build a repertoire of new American film that echoes the true spirit of urban life and speaks to a whole new generation whose lives defy categorizing along conversational lines. That purpose is realized through the presentation of new and original films of various genres from drama to documentaries. NUFF gives writers and filmmakers from America’s burgeoning multicultural landscape the opportunity to share their stories that interpret our history and our times.NUFF is produced by Creative Ammo Inc., a publicly funded, not-for-profit organization.
