Moonlit Motion, A Community Dance Workshop Inspired by the Moon
11:30 – 1PM
Are you ready to move under the influence of the moon? In celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Museum of Chinese in America is excited to collaborate with Choreographer Jiemin Yang for a special community dance workshop inspired by the moon, Moonlit Motion.
Join us for a captivating 90-minute community dance workshop where you’ll explore dynamic, moon-inspired movements that draw from the deep symbolism of the celestial moon in Asian culture. This open-level class, led by choreographer Jiemin Yang, offers a sneak peek into his latest contemporary dance project, Portraits of the Moon.
