Meditative Concert Series: Lunar Shower Celebration

Sunday, June 10, 2018
4 – 5:30PM

CRS presents an afternoon of music, meditation and dance created by recording artist Chigusa Fukushima (zanmaikin bowls), CRS healer Miyoko Satoh (crystal singing bowls) and dancer and color artist Masae Cathy Satouchi. The program celebrates the arrival of the new moon and the midpoint of the year, offering an opportunity to express gratitude for what has passed and to welcome all that is to come.

The otherworldly sounds of the singing bowls melt away stress and bring listeners into a state of deep relaxation and emotional and mental clarity, allowing revitalizing inspiration to enter consciousness. Dance and visuals will enhance the effects and deepen the journey. Come remember who you are and enjoy the energy of your abundance!

Tickets are $30 through June 9 and $40 at the door and are available online, by phone (212-677-8621) and at CRS.

This concert is part of an informal series of chamber concerts at CRS incorporating meditation as a means of deepening the connection between artists and audience.

In 2012 she discovered the Zanmaikin, a unique metal percussion instrument made of iron and pure titanium created by hand by Mr. Tomoaki Kawakami, a Japanese smithy based in Ishikawa prefecture, Japan. Each bowl produces a distinct and beautiful tone. Since then she has been offering concerts and sound meditations to encourage inner peace. She has released 4 CDs and toured internationally, performing at many spiritual sites such as Stonehenge and Mt. Shasta.http://space-u.net/sw/
