M'Dear: Sound Bath Meditation with ArinMaya

This Juneteenth weekend MoCADA invites you out for an afternoon of realignment and reclamation.

Join us as genre-bending singer and sound healer ArinMaya leads a sound bath meditation, designed to center your well-being. It’s a basic human right, necessary in Black communities. The event will also feature a private tour of the ‘M'Dear’ exhibition guided by curator Crystal Whaley at MoCADA’s Abolition House on Governors Island.

Grab your yoga mat and come relax, relate, and release on the lawn in community!

While this program is centering women and femmes, however, all are welcome to participate. (Though we will have a limited number of mats available on site, we encourage you to bring your own).
