Finding Footing as an Immigrant Within the Arts Sector

Navigating the Art-World can be a daunting journey of searching for grants, building an audience, and marketing yourself. This journey is made even more challenging when one has to navigate the system of US citizenship in addition.

In this workshop with Anabella Lenzu, we will discuss how immigrants can carve out space for their work here in the U.S, how to protect rights to said artwork, as well as navigating the challenges that being an immigrant can present in securing funding for artistic projects. This workshop space will close with a short Q&A session. Participants will walk away with insight and practical advice to apply in their own journey.
