DAYDREAMERS An Immersive Dance Show by Bo Park & William Yao

December 21, 2019 – January 12, 2020
4 – 9PM

Daydreamers is a groundbreaking immersive dance show in heart of New York City that invites its audience to the inspiring true story of the becoming of an artist. Choreographed by the Korea born, New York made choreographer Bo Park, the show intimately observes the coming of age of an island girl who snuck from Korea to New York and created a name as a reputable artist.

Interdisciplinary in its nature, Daydreamers deftly exemplifies, like never before, the synergy created between dance, film, music, visual art, and photography. The audience is encouraged to move in the space while experiencing elements of art from all directions and all senses.

From her humble beginnings to her current work with Broadway, Vogue, Adam Lambert, Nike, Lil Nas X to name a few, Bo welcomes the audience into her journey of a relentless chase for the dream. Daydreamers is a story marked by LGBTQ, Asian American Identity, family turmoils, passion and sacrifices, love and death, and more. Produced by New York-based filmmaker William Yao and Directed by William Yao and Bo Park, Daydreamers is a fresh new take on the Queer and Asian American narrative in a rather unfamiliar art scene.

The audience is guided into another dimension where vibrant, genuine emotions are understood and daydreams are transformed into hope. For more information about Shinsa please visit www.shinsathecollective.com
