QCA Creative Conversations: AAPI Listening and Solidarity

Thursday, April 22, 2021
6 – 7:30PM

How can the cultural community show up in this moment when AAPI members of our community are being attacked? Could art play a role in that process? How can we take steps to dismantle the racist assumptions and subsequent violent actions taken against the AAPI community?

We invite you to join us in a Creative Conversations to reflect as a community. This will be a space to share feelings and resources, give voice to personal experience, and find ways to move forward together.

About Creative Conversations
Held every third Thursday, Creative Conversations is a monthly gathering of artists, creatives, and community members. Designed to build community, participants discuss key issues facing their creative practice and the Queens cultural sector at large. Largely conversational and informal in nature, you are invited to join via zoom to share an art update, get feedback on an idea, or discuss a challenge you are currently facing as a creative.
