AAPI Musical Theater & Dance Workshop

Join A4 and the Disney Talent Casting team for an interactive audition experience centered on the global performance opportunities available with Disney Live Entertainment. During the workshop, we will discuss best practices and open the space for questions to better position yourself for success.

This opportunity is intended for musical theater artists and/or dance artists. You may join for either or both the vocalist/actor audition portion and the dance call.

This event is FREE and RSVP is required to hold your space. You do not need to audition in order to join the workshop. There will be time for Q&A and networking. Refreshments will be provided.

Agenda:
5:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Best practices and Q&A
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM: Vocalist/Actor mock auditions
6:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Q&A
7:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Break with refreshments
7:30 PM – 8:30 PM: Dance call
8:30 PM – 9:30 PM: Networking

For the vocalist/actor mock auditions: Those selected to present work to the group should prepare a one- to two- minute monologue or song that serves as a preferred audition piece along with headshots and resumes. An accompanist will be provided. Select material you have an organic connection to that tells a story that you bring to life in an honest way.

The A4 team will select and notify 6-8 participants by Wednesday, June 11. If you are selected, prior to the audition, please visit www.disneyauditions.com to create or update your audition profile.

For the dance call: Come prepared to move as participants will be guided through an optional dance call.
