๐๐ผ Join Jenny Lin Acosta & Janet Becerra for a five course tasting menu! This will be a pop-up dinner by two friends, cooking things they like to eat, inspired by the foods they grew up on.
James Beard Award Finalist & Restaurant Owner Janet Becerra of Pancita in Seattle, and Jenny Lin Acosta, multi-racial artist, culinary instructor & chef in NY, have come together blending Mexican, and Hainanese-Singaporean flavors for a one-night collaboration dinner.
ABOUT JENNY:
Jenny Lin Acosta is a Hainanese-Singaporean, Puerto Rican, & Irish Brooklyn-native and unofficial silly goose.
Acosta explores layered meanings of home through the lens of food and her mixed race identity. From roles like line cook at Bonnie’s Brooklyn and brand design at Welcome to Chinatown, to social at the Museum of Food & Drink and Interdisciplinary Sculpture alum at Maryland Institute College of Art, food as it relates to care and play imbues her practice.
Currently, Jenny is a culinary instructor, chef, and independent artist & designer. Her recent projects include a series of artworks inspired by NYC Chinese supermarkets and pop-up dinners featuring Hainanese Chicken Rice, celebrating her heritage and fostering community gatherings.

ABOUT JANET:
Janet Becerra is the Chef, Founder, and Co-Owner of Pancita in Seattle. Known for her expertise in Mexican cuisine, especially handmade tortillas and the nixtamalizing of corn, which are a cornerstone of her cooking.
From her first-generational upbringing in the PNW, living and working in France, and staging at Pujol in Mexico City, Janetโs approach is a compilation of her vibrant experiences.
Janet has a created a cuisine of her own at Pancita that has made her a celebrated figure in Seattleโs food scene and has garnered national attention with titles like 2024 James Beard Emerging Chef Finalist and recipient in NYTimes Best 25 Restaurants in Seattle.
