72 Hour Shootout Workshop: Casting for Filmmakers

This Casting for Filmmakers workshop with WC Casting is the first of a series of workshops for filmmakers and actors competing - or thinking of competing - in the annual, global 72 Hour Shootout filmmaking competition. Casting Director WAYNE CHANG will lead this special Casting for Filmmakers workshop. Wayne Chang is an independent Casting Director based in New York City. Recent credits include: In a New York Minute (starring Ludi Lin from Aquaman and Celia Au of Wu Assians, currently screening at festivals globally), International Art House feature Film Tomorrow Comes Today (Taiwanese Director, Ming Lang Chen), and LA & NY casting for Finding Mr. Right (Chinese Director, Xiao Lu Xue), Mojin-The Lost Legend (Chinese IMAX 3D Feature), as well as additional casting for “Life of Pi” (Taiwanese Director, Ang Lee).; short Films include: “Pulse” (2019 LA Film Festival Winner for best Director, Actress, Actor, and LGBTQ Film),  “Doorstep” (2019 Golden Door International Festival Selection), “If the Trees Could Talk “ (2015 Cannes Short Film Selection), “The Wreck” (2014 Cannes Short Film Selection), “Love Express” and “Lost and Found,” Episodic casting include: “5 State of Fear” (NBC Chiller Films), “The Negotiator” (Chinese TV series filming in New York), “The Starry Sky, The Starry Sea” (Chinese TV series filming in New York), and most recent “For You…”  (Chinese TV series filming in New York).
