Writers & Artists — 3-Months of Communal Workspace

Woodward Residency is home to a small community of writers, artists, designers and entrepreneurs who work out of private and shared workspaces at 467 Woodward Avenue in Ridgewood, Queens.

In addition to our full-time Member Residents, our GUEST RESIDENCY awards three-months of free communal workspace residencies to a rotating group of emerging/established writers, artists, filmmakers, designers, and musicians. Guest Residents will have access to the workspace, Mon-Friday, 9AM -5PM

We are currently accepting applications for our Fall ‘23 Guest Residency which will run between Sept 18 - Dec 20, 2023.

Requirements

Established/emerging artists and creative professionals in the fields of literary arts, visual arts, design, music, architecture, multi-disciplinary and other arts are encouraged to apply.

Please note that art forms that generate fumes (such as oil painting) cannot be accommodated. Also, with the exception of our piano residents, our space is best suited to less cacophonous artistic pursuits.
