Looking for a film competition that gets winners mentorships with the major TV networks, access to the Asian American International Film Festival, online exposure - oh yeah, and did we mention televised exposure across the country? Look no further! The Film Lab’s famous 72 Hour Shootout is ba-ack for its SIXTEENTH YEAR! The competition’s goal is to give exposure and opportunities to Asian American filmmakers, as well as women and others of color. The filmmakers compete for screen tests at ABC and NBC and mentorships from executives at NBC, cash prizes, festival screenings, and SO much more! We need consistent, reliable and self motivated volunteers who are either (1) extroverted people-persons based in either New York City or Los Angeles who are willing to help out at live events for as check in staff, photographers or videographers (this position requires a professional, experienced people who are comfortable interacting with major studio executives and filmmakers) AND/OR (2) people based anywhere who have wifi and are comfortable working from home and are able to create and stay on schedule creating and implementing targeted marketing blasts AND/OR (3) equally reliable, professional, self motivated volunteers who are comfortable with public speaking and can attend industry events on our behalf to present and market the 72 Hour Shootout in any city/state.
