Dance/NYC Subsidized Rehearsal Rates at Gibney

As of July 1, 2022 Gibney is offering 2,000 hours of rehearsal subsidized rates, made possible by Dance/NYC’s Dance Rehearsal Space Subsidy Program, distributed in two rounds. In the first round 1,000 rehearsal subsidized hours will be provided at $10/HR of rehearsal rental space. In order to extend these rehearsal subsidized rates to as many artists as possible, each artist is limited to 15 hours. The overall 15 hours per artist is made available until the allocated rehearsal subsidized hours (1,000 hours) has run out.

These hours are on a first come first serve basis, and will not carry over into the second round. Stay tuned for more information about round two!

All renters should complete the 2022 Artist Registration Form the first time they rent their rehearsal space using these new Dance/NYC rehearsal subsidized rates. The survey collects renters’ emails for the purposes of tracking completion, but the demographic data which is collected will be kept confidential to the fullest extent by Dance/NYC. Information collected through the registration form will only be used in anonymized aggregated form.
