The current open call accepts rolling applications from NY based artists who are in need of temporary studio space and unable to afford it.

NARS’ mission is geared towards creating community while fostering expansion and exchange of artistic and cultural practices. We have witnessed the impact that the current health crisis has had on artists and in the development of their work. With this in mind we have decided to dedicate part of the NARS Studios to 2 individual NY based artists who are in need of a space but unable to afford it.

The subsidized Studio Space will only be available for the stated period. Throughout this time, artists will have 24/7 access to their spaces and will be able to liaise with a diverse artistic community. The studio is a work-space only. Artists who need additional funding and support for materials, and accommodations should apply to other sources. Selected artists will be responsible for a $300 security deposit that is refundable at the end of their stay.
