Film Lab is commissioning a multimedia project to collect stories of anti-AAPI racism and ask people for their (20/20!) hindsights in giving advice to others who may experience the same thing. We could really use your help in getting the word out so as many people as possible can contribute their stories. As anti-Asian violence continues to rise and it appears that police and government entities are reluctant to truly step up (did you see the CA situation, profiled in CNN(https://www.cnn.com/2022/01/27/us/anti-asian-hate-crimes-san-francisco-lawsuit/index.html)?), we can use our creativity and artistic voices to bring empowerment to our communities. Share your poems, stories, films, and pictures with us at info@film-lab.org or on social @AsAmFilmLab #DiscrimiNATION. Be sure to include your best advice for others facing a similar situation.
