Log line: Lily is a Chinese mother who is adjusting to living in the United States, being single and online dating. One evening, she leaves her daughter Joyce at home to attend a singles mixer but things don’t go according to plan.
Shoot dates: Late July 2021
Seeking young actress (age 9-12) for the role of JOYCE (11), Lily’s daughter. Rebellious and curious, Joyce moved to Boston from Beijing to live with her mom.
Requirements
- Young actress will need to speak some Mandarin lines.
- Acting experience is a bonus but not a must. Mandarin fluency is preferred but not required.
