ROAR Artist RFP

Hosted by University Settlement, ROAR: Rejoice! Organize! Activate! Reclaim!, is a festival taking place in June, July and August 2022 in New York City’s Chinatown and Lower East Side. ROAR will focus on reactivating public spaces including Sara D. Roosevelt Park; celebrating the neighborhoods’ people and cultures; and increasing connection, well-being, and joy. We are seeking performing artists from throughout NYC to come and share your work with ROAR this summer! Selected performing artists will be paid a $500 honorarium for one, sixty-minute performance, on either a Saturday or Sunday afternoon this summer. Performances will take place within SDR park located on the Lower East Side and should be able to be enjoyed by speakers of all languages!
