Your project must tell a clear story. Abstract / non-narrative works are not eligible for judging.
Each project must have at least one Creator profile. Register as a Creator to receive a signup link. They’re free! And posting your casting notice is also free using code SOUNDSTORIES20.
Performers, all participating Sound Stories performers must have a Backstage Talent Profile. Register as a Performer to receive assets, announcements and updates.

If you think you have what it takes to compete in Sound Stories, register now to be notified about the first day of submission and the project themes on September 26th. Once themes are announced, your ticking clock begins! You’ll have until October 25th to pick your theme, create your project, and submit your finished piece for judging. The winning story will win prizes valued around $5000!

Your story must involve vocal performance or voice acting by a Backstage actor. (See tips below!)

Qualifying projects will be judged by Backstage and other entertainment industry experts. The winning project and 2 runners up will be announced on Backstage and the winning project will receive prizes valued around $5,000!
