This is an Open Call for LGBTQIA+ artists of Asian American, Native Hawai'ian, and Pacific Islander descent, and is also open to LGBTQIA+ artists of Asian descent worldwide to participate in an exhibition in California celebrating Queer Asian Pride in conjunction with the AANHPI Heritage and Pride months in May to June 2024 and beyond.

Artists must be able to submit their physical works to San Francisco and/or Los Angeles, California if they have been selected for exhibition. The works will be made available for sale.

About the SF LGBT Center

About DTLA Proud
DTLA Proud began as a festival and opened a community center that focuses on Accessibility and Representation in order to help our community Thrive (A+R=T). The Center houses an art gallery, queer marketplace, queer library, community room and co-working space. The A+R=T Community Center located at the Bloc in DTLA that is a queer safe space for all ages.

About THESTYLEGUYDE
Helmed by Steve Galindo, THESTYLEGUYDE Gallery stands to unite communities through the language of art photography, mixed media manipulation, painting and sculpture in hopes of driving conversation of change for marginal communities including the BIPOC and LGBTQAI+ Communities in Los Angeles.

Requirements

  • Seeking Physical Artwork only!
  • Limit Size: 18x24 inches or smaller for paintings and drawings and 18x18x18 for sculptures and installations.
  • Please submit images (.JPG or .PNG) of at least 300dpi resolution and 3MB minimum size.
  • Artists must be able to submit their physical works to California if they have been selected for exhibition.
