Play Submission Opportunity

Queens Theatre’s New American Voices play development program (NAV) is now accepting submissions for full-length plays by Japanese American writers for future reading and/or production consideration in partnership with BIRD Theatre in Tottori, Japan as part of their ongoing collaboration. Deadline for submissions is October 31, 2025.

They are looking for small cast plays (2-4), under two hours running time. Selected writers will be compenseated.

With New American Voices, Queens Theatre seeks to continue its mission to reflect perspectives on immigration, race, ethnicity, culture, nationality, religion, sexuality, and diversity in genre.
