Position Title Marketing & Communications Coordinator
Reports to Executive Director
Position classification Full time, permanent, non exempt
Work location Onsite at QCA/remote
Salary $45,000/annum

Essential Functions:
Maintain active and engaged presence on social media outlets (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Linkedin)
Oversee all external-facing content and communications; manage eblasts, monthly newsletter, press releases and announcements
Project manage any print marketing materials, including brochures, program cards, annual report, booklets, banners, signage, etc
Creatively tailor content to visualize programmatic outcomes in marketing QCA program opportunities and initiatives
Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments
Monitor & Review website and CRM using Google analytic tools
Manage database (update contacts records, add event sign-ins, create RSVP links)
Oversee blog/social media/eblast calendar (schedule)
Create e-blasts for upcoming QCA events/Open calls
Produce and publish monthly newsletter (Artspy)
Update Media/Press list

Requirements

Qualifications:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Demonstrates initiative, creative problem solving skills and ability to meet deadlines
Thrives in culturally diverse settings
Displays a high level of support for colleagues
Strong ability to collaborate well and build professional and respectful relationships with Queens and NYC based arts organizations and online platforms
Proficiency with social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
Proficiency in creating accessible content to particular sites (screen readers, add-on platforms, image descriptions)
Proficiency in creating graphic & visual content using QCA style guide
Ability to take copy from program managers & create content
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Proficiency with Submittable
Proficiency with Wordpress
