The residency invites diverse, expansive, and individualized versions of the creative process and nurtures artists at all stages of creation, research, training, and development. This residency is open to, but not limited to, choreographers, dance filmmakers, educators, and performers using a Marley sprung floor.
We are also so honored and excited to have Yara Travieso as our Panel Head. Yara is a Brooklyn-based writer, director, filmmaker, and choreographer who is currently on faculty at The Juilliard School teaching an original course on Film/New Media. Her work has often explored Latin America and womanhood, alongside her activism for Latin American womxn’s rights. Her experience as an educator, performer, and creative will help shape and support the panel and ultimately the residencies.
Artists have until November 30 to submit their application.
