FJORD 2024 Open Call

FJORD Gallery is pleased to announce their 2024 Open Call! Artists are invited to submit their work for consideration in a group exhibition, to run September 28 – October 26, 2024.

Deadline: July 12, 2024 at 11:59pm
Exhibition Dates: September 28 – October 26, 2024
Opening Reception: Saturday, September 28, 6-9pm

Requirements

Artwork must be delivered to the gallery by Saturday, September 21 between 12-4pm and be install-ready.

Artists working in all mediums are encouraged to apply. The exhibition will be curated by FJORD members; there is no specified theme. Artists outside of Philadelphia are encouraged to apply, but will be responsible for shipping or delivering their work to and from the gallery.

Applicants will be notified of acceptance by approximately one month after the submission deadline.

Application Instructions

Please submit a single multi-page PDF of your work, image list, CV and statement to fjordgallery@gmail.com

Name your PDF using the following format: LastName_FirstName_2024OpenCall.pdf

Submissions should include (in this order):
* Up to 5 images or 3 videos
* If submitting video, please include Vimeo/Youtube links
* Image list; please include title, year, dimensions, and media
* Brief description of any specific technical or install needs related to your work
* Artist Statement (250 word max.)
* Include a link to your website, if applicable
* One page CV

Submission fee is $20, payable through Paypal. Please submit payment to fjordgallery@gmail.com. *Sliding scale submission fees will be considered; please email us regarding your request.
