Film at Lincoln Center Academy Programs

Applications are now open for the 2026 FLC Academy Programs—two immersive initiatives that support emerging voices in filmmaking and film criticism.

Taking place during the New York Film Festival, the FLC Artists Academy and FLC Critics Academy provide early-career filmmakers and writers with real-world experience, access to industry events, and mentorship from seasoned professionals. These programs are designed to equip participants with the tools and relationships needed to build meaningful, sustainable careers in film.

As part of FLC’s ongoing commitment to increasing representation in the film space, they place a strong emphasis on mentorship, talent development, and authentic storytelling shaped by a broad spectrum of voices and lived experiences.
