Festival Exhibit And Programming Request For Proposals

For the first time since 2012, the Photoville Festival will be celebrating visual storytelling in the summer.

Photoville Festival 2022 will kick off with an Opening Day Community Celebration and will feature public art exhibitions in all 5 boroughs for the month of June. It will also include artist-led walking tours, workshops, and opportunities for educators and students to connect with the Festival’s featured visual storytellers.

We want to see your visual stories — local and global, long-term projects and pressing current issues, stories of communities, of celebration, of resilience, of challenges— stories that help us better understand the world around us.

Accepting proposals – now through March 4, 2022

We do encourage early submissions as we are already starting to discuss and lock in projects and spaces. If your proposal is accepted, we will schedule a time to discuss the next steps between February 15 – March 20, 2022, which will include curatorial, technical, and financial elements. All applicants will receive a notification by early April 2022.
